Terms and Conditions for Ananda Rath and Passengers
Welcome to Ananda Rath. By booking and participating in our tours, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions, which outline the mutual obligations between Ananda Rath and our passengers. These terms govern your booking, travel, and participation in our spiritual journeys. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking and Payment
- Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once full payment or a specified deposit is received and acknowledged by Ananda Rath.
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit card, bank transfers, and other approved payment gateways.
- Pricing: All trip prices are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of booking. The price includes transportation, accommodation, and meals as specified in the tour package. Any additional costs (personal expenses, additional services) are the responsibility of the passenger.
- Final Payment: If a deposit is made, the balance of the payment must be completed as per the payment deadline set by Ananda Rath before the departure date.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation by Passenger:
- If you cancel your trip after payment, no cash refunds will be provided. However, the amount you paid can be credited for future trips with Ananda Rath, valid for 12 months from the cancellation date.
- To cancel, you must notify us in writing or through the provided customer service contact.
- Cancellation by Ananda Rath:
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations) that require us to cancel or reschedule the tour, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or a credit towards a future trip.
- Ananda Rath reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip if the minimum number of participants is not met, in which case a full refund or credit will be offered.
3. Travel Documents
- Identification: All passengers must carry valid government-issued identification (such as an Aadhaar card, passport, or driver’s license) during the trip.
- Special Requirements: Any special travel requirements, such as dietary restrictions or medical conditions, must be communicated at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate these needs.
4. Health and Safety
- Health Requirements: Passengers must be in good health and physically able to participate in the activities described in the tour itinerary. Ananda Rath is not responsible for providing medical assistance during the tour. Please bring necessary medications and inform us of any health concerns.
- Travel Insurance: We recommend that all passengers obtain travel insurance to cover health, accident, trip cancellations, or other unforeseen events. Ananda Rath is not liable for medical emergencies, lost luggage, or personal items during the trip.
5. Accommodations
- Dharmashala Stays: Accommodation is provided in Dharmashalas, as specified in the tour package. These are clean, comfortable, and basic facilities suited for a spiritual retreat.
- Room Allocation: We will assign rooms on a shared basis, unless private accommodations are specifically requested and paid for in advance.
- Special Accommodation Requests: Any special requests for accommodations (such as wheelchair accessibility or specific room types) must be communicated during booking and are subject to availability.
6. Travel Itinerary
- Itinerary Changes: While we make every effort to maintain the itinerary as advertised, we reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary or trip schedule for the safety, comfort, and convenience of passengers.
- Delays and Unforeseen Events: Ananda Rath is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, road closures, or other factors beyond our control. No refunds or adjustments will be made for missed tours or activities due to such delays.
7. Conduct of Passengers
- Behavior: All passengers are expected to maintain respectful behavior towards fellow travelers, tour guides, and locals at all times. Disruptive, offensive, or illegal behavior will not be tolerated. Ananda Rath reserves the right to remove any passenger from the tour without refund for violating these terms.
- Liability for Damages: Passengers will be held liable for any damage caused to property (such as buses, accommodations, or public sites) during the trip. Any repair or replacement costs must be borne by the responsible passenger.
8. Meals and Dietary Restrictions
- Meal Inclusions: The tour package includes meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as specified. Meals are generally prepared by our expert Odia cooks, offering traditional and wholesome dishes.
- Special Dietary Needs: If you have specific dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, etc.), please inform us at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee availability of all meal preferences at every destination.
9. Personal Belongings
- Responsibility for Personal Items: Ananda Rath is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during the tour. We advise passengers to take care of their valuables and carry travel insurance for lost items.
- Luggage: Passengers are allowed to carry one piece of luggage and one small bag. Excessive luggage may incur additional fees or may not be accommodated.
10. Liability and Disclaimer
- Tour Responsibility: While we strive to provide the best possible services, Ananda Rath is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, delays, or damages that occur during the trip. Participation in the tour is at the passenger’s own risk.
- Force Majeure: Ananda Rath is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes in the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
11. Photography and Media
- Media Consent: By participating in the tour, passengers consent to be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing at the start of the trip.
12. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
13. Agreement to Terms
By booking a trip with Ananda Rath, passengers agree to these Terms and Conditions. We recommend all passengers review these terms before making any travel arrangements to ensure clarity and understanding.
